About The Position

BCG Platinion's Cybersecurity team works at the intersection of technology, business transformation, and digital risk. We advise BCG clients in making critical technology decisions—from strategy and architecture to cloud, products, data and AI—while ensuring cybersecurity and resilience are built into those decisions. We also help clients address cybersecurity-specific challenges including strategy, transformation, security architecture, risk, and resilience. Cybersecurity Interns at BCG Platinion are: Problem solvers. They bring curiosity, analytical rigor, and structured thinking to unfamiliar technology and cybersecurity problems. Technologists. They are interested in how modern technology works and how areas such as cloud, software, data, AI, and digital products enable business transformation. Clear communicators. They synthesize complex information and communicate insights clearly to technical and business audiences. Cybersecurity minded. They understand foundational cybersecurity concepts and are curious about how security and digital risk shape technology and business decisions. Collaborative learners. Requirements

Enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in computer science, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, data/AI, business, or another relevant field.
Graduating between December 2027 and July 2028.
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to structure unfamiliar problems, work with incomplete information, and develop evidence-based conclusions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong curiosity about how technology enables business strategy and how cybersecurity and digital risk affect technology decisions.
A practical foundation in cybersecurity concepts, developed through coursework, projects, internships, research, certifications, or other relevant experience.
Familiarity with modern technology environments such as cloud, software development, data and AI, digital products, or enterprise technology.
Ability to work collaboratively in teams, take ownership of assigned work, and seek feedback to improve quickly.
High learning agility and enthusiasm for rapidly developing expertise in unfamiliar technology and cybersecurity topics.

Nice To Haves

Previous relevant internship, project, research, or extracurricular experience in technology, consulting, cybersecurity, or related fields is a plus.
