About The Position

We are seeking a full-time Assembly, Integration & Test Technician. Primary responsibilities will be working with/learning from more experienced technicians and teaching less experienced technicians in the following areas: complex mechanical assemblies, soldering, harness build, inspection, test, etc. We are looking for candidates excited about being part of a close-knit team of individuals, passionate about space systems, and have the desire to continuously learn and improve. Further responsibilities will include inspection, assembly, integration and operational checkout of flight hardware.

Requirements

• Experience interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings
• Comfortable operating within the Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficiency in Harness and Mechanical build
• Communication skills (both written and oral)
• Mechanical aptitude: ability to utilize hand tools & precision tools
• 2+ years experience in complex manufacturing
• Ability to obtain Secret or TS/SCI security clearance
• Lift and carry 50lbs
• Climb ladders, stairs and work in restrictive spaces

Nice To Haves

• A&P License
• IPC & J-STD Certifications
• Active Secret or TS/SCI security clearance
• 2 Year Technical Degree
• Experienced Forklift Operations
• Experience with Overhead Crane Operations
• 6Sigma Yellow Belt
• Team Lead experience
• Currently a contractor for York Space Systems builds
