About The Position

Comcast's Drexel Co-op Program offers an exciting opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience, build lasting connections, and grow professionally in a dynamic and inclusive environment. This paid, 6-month immersive experience places students at the heart of Comcast's business, working alongside talented professionals on meaningful projects that contribute to real outcomes. As a trusted member of the team, co-ops gain exposure to the inner workings of a global media and technology company while developing skills that will serve them well in any career path. The AI Strategy and Transformation Team, within Comcast’s Strategic Development organization, focuses on AI Strategy, AI Ecosystem Engagement, and Enterprise Transformation. This team works closely with Comcast’s Chief Technology Officer organization and the AI Technology Center of Excellence to shape the future of Comcast through AI. This Co-op will report directly to Sean Singer, a Senior Director on the team.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University, with a cooperative learning track.
  • Available to work 40 hours per week for 6 months starting September 22, 2026, through March 26, 2027.
  • Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs.
  • Available to report in-person to the work location.
  • Curiosity and passion for artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
  • Demonstrated interest in AI trends, tools, or applications—through coursework, projects, or independent exploration.
  • Growth mindset, intellectual curiosity, and eagerness to learn.
  • Strong research and synthesis capabilities.
  • Ability to absorb complex information quickly and distill it into clear, actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Comfortable writing executive-style briefs, creating polished presentations, and presenting ideas to diverse audiences.
  • Experience with quantitative analysis and/or structured problem-solving in academic or project settings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Familiarity with tools commonly used to build business cases and executive-facing deliverables.
  • Self-starter mentality; able to manage tasks independently, adapt to ambiguity, and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative and professional demeanor.
  • Comfortable engaging with stakeholders across technical and business teams.
  • Preferred Majors: Business Administration, Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science.

Responsibilities

  • Research and present critical topics across the AI ecosystem, including foundational models, infrastructure, tooling, and responsible AI.
  • Explore specific areas of Comcast’s operations to uncover opportunities where AI can create value and accelerate business outcomes.
  • Support internal enablement efforts, including workshops and training, to empower teams across the enterprise.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of proofs of concept (POCs), gaining hands-on exposure to AI applications in a corporate context.
  • Collaborate closely with a diverse group of stakeholders, including technologists, strategists, and product teams across Comcast.
  • Conduct research on emerging AI trends, technologies, and ecosystem players.
  • Synthesize insights on topics such as generative AI, multimodal models, AI infrastructure, and responsible AI to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Develop executive-facing deliverables, including memos, presentations, and briefing documents that communicate complex topics clearly and concisely to senior leaders.
  • Support opportunity discovery across Comcast’s business units by working with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges where AI can accelerate outcomes, and translate those into problem statements and potential solution paths.
  • Contribute to internal enablement initiatives by assisting in designing and delivering educational content, hands-on workshops, or toolkits that empower teams across the company to engage with AI.
  • Participate in the design and execution of AI-related proofs of concept (POCs) by collaborating with product, engineering, and operations teams to define POC goals, track progress, and assess outcomes.
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis using both structured data and unstructured insights to support hypothesis-driven workstreams, business case development, or strategic assessments.
  • Engage with external AI ecosystem players by helping track key startups, academic researchers, and industry partners, and summarizing their relevance to Comcast’s strategic priorities.
  • Operate with autonomy and ownership by managing workstreams independently, proactively identifying new areas of exploration, and communicating progress regularly to team members and stakeholders.
