About The Position

We're hiring our first AI Strategist to be the face of Raylu and make our platform indispensable to every deal team that uses it. You'll own the full customer journey — from first login to daily power user — while sitting at the center of the company as the bridge between what customers need and what we build. This role is purpose-built for the private markets world. You'll advise investors on how to rethink their sourcing workflows from the ground up: which signals to track, how to structure outreach cadences, how to use AI to surface the right companies before anyone else does. You'll work directly with deal teams and operating partners to translate Raylu's capabilities into real workflow changes that stick — and bring what you learn back into the product, working closely with engineering to shape what we build next.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years in customer success/account management at a hyper-growth B2B startup or finance in PE, VC, or consulting
  • Customer-centric with strong product sense: deeply understand how investors think and operate, grasp their workflows quickly, and translate needs into clear requirements
  • Scrappy, resourceful, and action-oriented: structure ambiguous problems, pick things up quickly, juggle multiple initiatives, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Live at the intersection of technical and non-technical: comfortable learning AI/LLM tools, becoming a product expert in prompt engineering, and translating between customer needs and engineering teams
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to work professionally with executives, managers, and analysts alike
  • Revenue-minded: comfortable discussing expansion and contracts while always prioritizing customer value

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience building Strategic AI Partnerships programs from 0→1
  • Obsessed with startup/funding/financial news, deep familiarity with private market investing workflows and sourcing strategies

Responsibilities

  • Advise private markets clients on redesigning their sourcing workflows around AI
  • Own onboarding and adoption for a portfolio of enterprise accounts
  • Run working sessions with deal teams to configure Raylu around their specific theses and strategies
  • Identify patterns across accounts, translate them into product requirements, and build the playbooks that make this repeatable as we scale
  • Quickly educate teams on Raylu, understand their workflows deeply, and tailor the product to solve their specific research problems
  • Drive onboarding and adoption so that solutions become an integral part of customers’ day-to-day operations
  • Set up dashboards and be obsessed with customer activity
  • Reach out when engagement drops or when customers need guidance to use the platform effectively
  • Anticipate customer needs and deliver product updates, new features, and solutions before problems arise
  • Master Raylu best practices
  • Act as the voice of the customer and synthesize customer feedback into clear product requirements that shape our roadmap
  • Help build the function from scratch - creating repeatable processes, playbooks, dashboards, and operational frameworks that scale as we grow
