About The Position

The AI Specialist (Operations) Intern will support the exploration, development, and implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions that improve business processes, data analysis, and decision-making. This role offers firsthand experience working with AI tools, data analytics, and process automation while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This Internship is Hybrid, based in Niles, IL.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Generative AI concepts.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are important.
Experience with Python, SQL, or data analysis tools.
Familiarity with AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, OpenAI, or similar technologies.
Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Experience working with large datasets and analytics projects.

Responsibilities

Assist in researching, evaluating, and testing AI technologies and tools.
Support the development of AI-powered solutions, prototypes, and proof-of-concepts.
Create reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate project findings.
Document AI use cases, workflows, and best practices.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and gather feedback.
