About The Position

CECP is seeking a curious, proactive AI Solutions Intern to help explore, pilot, and scale practical uses of artificial intelligence across the organization. This role is ideal for someone excited about applying AI tools in a real-world, resource-constrained nonprofit environment. The intern will work across teams to identify opportunities where AI can improve efficiency, enhance insights, and elevate the experience delivered to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Current undergraduate, graduate student, or recent graduate (preferred fields: business, data science, public policy, communications, or related)
• Strong foundational knowledge in computer science or a related technical field.
• Hands-on experience building and configuring AI agents, specifically using Microsoft Copilot Studio and large language model (LLM) prompt engineering.
• A high degree of initiative, professionalism, and attention to detail
• Experience with MS Office and CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred)
• Must be a US Citizen currently living in the United States and throughout the duration of the internship.

Responsibilities

• Research, test, and implement AI tools and solutions that enhance CECP's operations, member experience, marketing, and growth efforts.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automate workflows, and streamline processes across teams.
• Support the use of AI to enhance digital engagement, content strategy, audience reach, and organizational visibility.
• Analyze and synthesize data to generate insights that inform decision-making, member engagement, and business development activities.
• Assist in developing AI-powered tools, resources, and internal solutions that improve staff and stakeholder experiences.
• Create documentation, guides, and recommendations to support AI adoption and best practices across the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to pilot innovative AI initiatives and evaluate their impact and scalability.
