About The Position

Andromeda is launching an AI practice focused on where AI creates real business value. The AI Solutions Engineer will work directly with the CEO, helping build solutions from day one while growing into greater technical ownership as the AI practice evolves. This role involves building internal AI tools to improve efficiency, prototyping automations and integrations using AI, APIs, MCP servers, and modern platforms, researching emerging technologies, and helping design and build client-facing AI solutions. The role also includes documenting successful ideas to become repeatable services. Some weeks will involve building multiple things, while others may focus on learning or proving concepts. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys building and figuring things out, is proactive, learns quickly, is comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change, focuses on business outcomes, and can explain technical ideas to non-technical people. Software development in at least one modern programming language and experience with APIs or system integrations are required. The company values demonstrated ability and projects over formal education.

Requirements

Write software in at least one modern programming language.
Experience with APIs or system integrations.
A GitHub profile, portfolio, or examples of AI projects, automations, integrations, or software.
Drug screen and some hands-on testing.

Nice To Haves

A degree is welcome, but so are self-taught skills.
