About The Position

Design and implement effective AI solution architecture and strategy utilizing approaches of various AI technologies and methods to address clients' business problems and needs while complying with the organization’s strategies and business goals and key ethical considerations. Apply advanced consulting skills or extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and may supervise team members.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with artificial intelligence, data science, machine learning engineering, or software engineering
  • 5+ years of experience with programming, including in Python
  • Experience with deep learning, computer vision, NLP, or agentic AI
  • Experience and comfort with independent, self-directed research
  • Knowledge of modern software design patterns, including microservice design
  • Ability to lead and support the day-to-day execution of technology assessment efforts, including analysis comparing alternatives, characterization and quantification of performance, and comprehension and development of requirements based on mission needs
  • Ability to quickly learn about and distill a wide variety of complex technical topics into core concepts understandable by general audiences
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading technical development and technical research teams
  • Experience with generative and agentic AI technologies such as LLMs, MCP, LangChain, or LangGraph
  • Secret clearance
  • Master’s degree in a STEM field preferred
  • Doctorate degree in a STEM field a plus
