Senior, AI Software Engineer | Full Stack

Red Ventures
$120,000 - $150,000

About The Position

This role is not open to visa sponsorship or transfer of visa sponsorship including those on H1-B, F-1, OPT, STEM-OPT, or TN visa, nor is it available to work corp-to-corp. Curious how Home fits into Red Ventures? Click here. At Allconnect, we are evolving how software gets built when AI is no longer a feature but the foundation. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who is excited to build in that environment: someone who brings strong full-stack depth, sharp engineering instincts, and a genuine belief that AI changes what great software looks like. In this role, you will own complex features end-to-end, shape how the team thinks about architecture, and help establish what it means to build with AI at the center of the product, the developer experience, and the engineering culture we are creating together. This is a role for someone who wants to be part of building something genuinely new - not just shipping into an existing system, but defining how the next generation of it works. We are a team that takes craft seriously, invests in the tools and practices that make engineers better, and believes the best engineering cultures are built by the people in them. If you want to grow into broader technical ownership alongside engineers who care about the same things, you will find good company here. Requirements

  • 4–6 years of professional software engineering experience, with a track record of delivering complex features in production environments and growing into greater ownership over time.
  • Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, Next.js, Node.js, and AWS as your core stack. Working knowledge of GraphQL, SST, Terraform, and GitHub Actions is a plus — comfort with the fundamentals matters more than breadth of specific tooling.
  • Active, daily use of AI-assisted development tools — Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or equivalent — as a core part of how you already work. This is a hard requirement: we expect you to be fluent, not curious.
  • Solid engineering fundamentals across software architecture, testing, and observability — you write observable code that others can read and maintain, and you actively improve the quality of what you touch rather than just meeting the spec.
  • Experience working as a strong individual contributor on a team — participating in code and design reviews with genuine engagement, supporting teammates, and taking ownership of your work end-to-end without needing significant hand-holding.
  • A collaborative, curious engineer who takes quality seriously, communicates well, and wants to grow — you care about the craft and the team in equal measure.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of GraphQL, SST, Terraform, and GitHub Actions is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Own Features End-to-End: Design and implement complex, production-grade features across our next-generation sales platform - writing code that is readable, testable, and built to last, and contributing meaningfully to architectural discussions with your peers.
  • Use AI across the entire product development lifecycle — from shaping requirements and designing systems to writing, reviewing, and operating code in production. Tools like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and Cursor are the baseline; what we are looking for is an engineer who knows where AI adds real leverage at each stage of the process, and uses it with intention rather than habit. This is not a nice-to-have — it is how we build.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, product, and data teammates to understand goals, surface technical constraints early, and contribute to solutions that balance customer value with sound engineering judgment.
  • Communicate proactively across functions — flag risks and tradeoffs before you are asked, and do it with enough clarity that product and data teammates can make informed decisions without needing to dig into the code themselves.
  • Contribute to Architecture and Engineering Standards: Work fluently across our TypeScript, Next.js, Node.js, and AWS stack — understanding not just how to use it, but why it is built the way it is, and flagging when something does not feel right.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions on our AI-enabled sales platform — bringing well-reasoned opinions, asking the right questions, and helping the team think through tradeoffs on scope that affects your work and the work of engineers around you.
  • Operate within and actively improve the team's engineering standards — writing code that others can build on, participating in design reviews with genuine input, and helping identify patterns worth repeating or practices worth fixing.
  • Balance shipping with quality — you know when to move fast and when to slow down, and you make that call with good judgment rather than defaulting to either extreme.
  • Be a good teammate — share what you know, give honest and constructive feedback in code reviews, and make the engineers around you a little better just by working alongside them.
