About The Position
Designs and develops software across the stack for web applications and engineering tools that includes programming at the data layer, integration layer, API layer, and the UI layer. Develops systems, integrations, APIs, and solutions that are focused on, but not limited to, engineering. Manages/tracks the software development process from development to production release, in collaboration with other IT teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems). OR Bachelor’s degree in a non-technical field and 1+ year of IT-relevant experience. OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of IT-relevant experience.
- 2+ years of any combination of academic or work experience with programming (e.g., Java, Python, etc.).
- 1+ year of any combination of academic or work experience with Data Structures, algorithms, and data stores.
- Completed advanced degree in a relevant field may be substituted for up to one year (Master’s = one year) of the general IT-related work experience.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- 2+ years of IT-relevant work experience.
Responsibilities
- Provides support for projects by completing tasks for back-end/front-end applications, associated integration, and required test harnesses based on design.
- Writes reliable, testable, and maintainable code under some supervision.
- Completes assigned technical tasks for system integrations and APIs under some supervision.
- Completes assigned technical tasks for the design, build, and deployment of pipelines that handle the software lifecycle under some supervision.
- Executes tasks to meet project deliverables and associated deadlines for software development process.
- Regularly discusses issues within project team to maintain open communication.
- Networks with more senior IT Software Developers and seeks out learning opportunities to increase own knowledge, skill, and overall expertise in the IT Software Development field.
- Contributes to technical conversations with technical leads/managers.
- Writes technical documentation for straightforward projects under the direction of a supervisor.
