Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience with AI and machine learning.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with one or more additional programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or PL/SQL.
• Understanding of data science and natural language processing.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as OCI, AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, and cloud data platforms such as Snowflake.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

• Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, MIS, Data Science, or a related field.
• Expert level experience with AI and machine learning experience
• Proficiency with data engineering tools and languages such as SQL, Power Query, and Pandas.
• Proficiency with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Plotly, Seaborn, and Matplotlib.
• Proven track record of learning, evaluating, and applying emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy innovative AI and emerging technology solutions, including generative AI, agentic AI systems, computer vision, and advanced analytics
• Evaluate new technologies, conduct proof-of-concept initiatives, and partner with business stakeholders to scale successful solutions that improve operational efficiency, decision-making, and client service delivery across HDR.
• Design, prototype, and develop AI-enabled tools that improve data processing, predictive analytics, decision support, and workflow automation.
• Build and maintain APIs, data pipelines, and application integrations that support AI-driven features and internal platforms.
• Collaborate with business, technology, data, DevOps, and machine learning teams to define requirements and translate use cases into scalable technical solutions.
• Conduct research and development to test AI concepts, validate business value, and recommend approaches for pilot implementation.
• Evaluate, refine, and monitor AI models and algorithms to ensure accuracy, reliability, usability, and alignment with business needs.
• Support pilot teams by documenting technical approaches, gathering feedback, and iterating on solution design.
• Stay current with emerging AI, machine learning, data engineering, and cloud technologies relevant to the AEC industry.
