About The Position

Join a team working at the intersection of artificial intelligence and security. As an AI Security Engineering Intern, you will gain hands-on experience exploring how AI can be used to identify, analyze, and improve software and system security. This internship is designed for students who are excited to learn, experiment, and contribute to real-world projects involving AI, machine learning, and secure software development.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience with 3+ months of educational or work experience.
3+ months of educational or work experience in AI based tools specifically for code generation and security discovery, such as: AI assisted static and semantic code generation and analysis
3+ months of educational or work experience in Automated vulnerability discovery and reasoning over complex code paths
3+ months of educational or work experience in Identification of insecure patterns and architectural weaknesses using AI
System level programming skills (e.g., C/C++, Rust) and security automation, validation (e.g., Python)

Nice To Haves

Experience defining SoC, IP, or platform architecture specifications
Discovering or preventing critical firmware or platform level security issues before production
Experience scaling AI driven security discovery across large, shared firmware or platform codebases

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and evaluating AI/ML approaches for security applications (e.g., code analysis, vulnerability detection)
Support analysis of software systems to identify potential security risks or inefficiencies
Work with engineers to test and improve model performance, accuracy, and scalability
Contribute to automation tools or scripts that support security analysis workflows
Conduct research and present findings on emerging AI and security topics
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a supportive, learning-focused environment
