AI Security Engineer (hybrid)

Requirements
- Experience with Python programming and scripting for security tooling and automation
- Experience with AWS and Azure cloud security fundamentals
- Experience with the NIST AI RMF and OWASP/OAuth Top 10 security frameworks
- Experience with PHI/PII data protection and encryption controls
- Experience with cybersecurity, AI/ML, or security engineering in a large enterprise environment (3+ years)
- Experience with AI/ML model validation and security testing
- Experience with AI security posture management (AISPM/DSPM) tooling
- Experience with AI red teaming
- Experience with Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) tooling for AI agent permissions
- Experience with prompt-level security controls and guardrails (LLM firewalls, input/output filtering) for GenAI agentic applications and agentic design patterns and protocols, including MCP
- Experience with prompt injection, jailbreak, and tool-misuse defense techniques
- Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field (required)

- Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) best practices
- Master's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Implement and operate AI security posture management (AISPM/DSPM) across model and inference infrastructure, identifying misconfigurations and risk
- Design, build, and run model validation and evaluation harnesses to test AI models for robustness and unexpected behavior
- Build and maintain inference-layer guardrails and controls for GenAI and agentic applications
- Define and enforce PHI/PII data protection and identity/access controls for AI systems
- Partner with Cloud Security teams to establish and validate AWS and Azure guardrails for AI workloads
- Develop Python-based scripts and automation to integrate AI security controls into CI/CD pipelines
- Research, test, and pilot AI security tools aligned to the NIST AI RMF and related standards
