About The Position

Our client is seeking an AI Security Architecture Consultant to support the secure design, development, and deployment of AI/ML and Generative AI solutions across the enterprise. This role will partner with engineering, data science, cloud, platform, and security teams to establish security requirements, governance controls, and architecture standards for AI adoption.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Security Architecture or Security Engineering
• Strong understanding of AI/ML and Generative AI architectures, including RAG, vector databases, model endpoints, and AI agents
• Experience securing cloud-native applications and APIs within AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong background in application security, API security, threat modeling, and secure SDLC practices
• Experience mitigating AI security risks including prompt injection, data leakage, model theft, and model poisoning
• Experience with IAM, encryption, secrets management, logging, and monitoring controls
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with enterprise GenAI platforms, AI governance, or regulated environments

Responsibilities

• Define secure architectures for AI/ML and Generative AI workloads
• Perform threat modeling across AI systems, including training and inference environments
• Establish security controls across the AI lifecycle, including data protection and governance requirements
• Define guardrails for GenAI safety, misuse prevention, and secure tool execution
• Partner with cloud, IAM, and security teams to implement secure access controls
• Review AI solution designs for compliance with enterprise security standards
• Support model governance, auditability, monitoring, and incident response readiness
• Develop AI security standards, implementation guidance, and best practices
