About The Position

Ricursive Intelligence is a frontier AI Lab focused on building self-improving systems, starting with chip design. We are reinventing chip development and closing the loop between AI and the hardware that fuels it, recursively accelerating the path to artificial superintelligence. This is an exploratory application for individuals who engaged with our team at DAC 2026 or are interested in potential opportunities at Ricursive. We are seeking resumes and indications of interest to connect candidates with the appropriate teams within the organization. Our work spans areas such as EDA algorithms, design verification, RTL design, LLM modeling, training, and scaling research, and LLM infrastructure for large-scale training and inference.

Requirements

  • Experience in EDA algorithms (synthesis, physical design, sign-off).
  • Experience in design verification.
  • Experience in RTL design.
  • Experience in LLM modeling, training, and scaling research.
  • Experience in LLM infrastructure for training and inference at scale.
  • Interest in working on self-improving systems and AI acceleration.
  • Ability to work on-site in Palo Alto.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AlphaChip (Nature 2021).
  • Experience with RL-CCD (DAC Best Paper 2023).
  • Experience with INSTA (DAC Best Paper 2025).
  • Experience with C3PO (ASP-DAC Best Paper 2026).
  • Hands-on experience developing Gemini, Claude, Grok, and TPUs.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in EDA algorithms, including synthesis, physical design, and sign-off.
  • Contribute to design verification efforts.
  • Participate in RTL design.
  • Conduct research in LLM modeling, training, and scaling.
  • Develop and manage LLM infrastructure for large-scale training and inference.
