As part of Bosch's global research efforts, the AI research team in Pittsburgh focuses on Multimodal Foundation Models, AI-based Sensing, Driving assistance, agentic AI, and efficient GenAI. The team is dedicated to developing scalable, intelligent, and trustworthy AI solutions for various Bosch products and services, including advanced manufacturing, smart home and building solutions, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), robust AI systems, and AI-based simulators. This role, originating from Bosch AI research in Pittsburgh, involves pushing the boundaries of multimodal foundation models and GenAI through key innovations to solve complex industry problems and shape the future of Bosch products and services for both internal and external users. The scientist will collaborate with internal partners across different Bosch business units to integrate solutions into future products and actively engage with leading academic and industry groups, publishing research findings in renowned conferences and journals such as ICML, ICLR, ICRA, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, and NeurIPS.
