About The Position

Cisco is building the infrastructure foundation for the AI era, bringing together networking, security, observability, automation, and operations to help customers move AI from experimentation to enterprise-scale production. The Product Marketing organization plays a critical role in translating this innovation into compelling customer stories, differentiated positioning, and go-to-market execution. You will lead cross-functional programs that strengthen how Cisco positions, communicates, and brings its portfolio to market. You will partner with Product Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Corporate Marketing, and other key stakeholders to advance high-impact initiatives, evolve product and portfolio messaging, and ensure Cisco’s value is clearly and consistently communicated to customers and partners. Your work will help connect Cisco’s strategy and innovation to compelling market narratives and go-to-market execution. Success in this role requires a strong program leader who can translate strategic priorities into actionable programs, align diverse stakeholders, and manage complex initiatives from strategy through execution. You will establish program governance, drive clarity across priorities and dependencies, measure business outcomes, and identify opportunities to strengthen Cisco’s external presence. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of program or project management experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience supporting enterprise technology, AI, product marketing, or go-to-market programs.
  • Program management skills may include planning, governance, risk management, stakeholder alignment, and/or executive reporting.
  • Experience reviewing success measures and tracking business outcomes.

  • Strong communication and influencing skills across technical, business, and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting Sr. Director, VP or SVP level leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional programs that strengthen how Cisco positions, communicates, and brings its portfolio to market.

  • Serve as a central partner across Product Marketing, Product Management, Sales, and Corporate Marketing, ensuring go-to-market priorities are not only met but accelerated.
  • Manage program plans, governance, risks, and dependencies.
  • Provide clear executive reporting and translate high-level strategic goals into measurable, real-world outcomes.
  • Identify key opportunities to strengthen Cisco’s market presence and customer impact.
  • Communicate effectively across technical and business audiences.
  • Navigate complex initiatives and deliver solutions that resonate with customers and define Cisco's future in the AI space.
