About The Position

Team Red Dog is building a pipeline of qualified candidates for an anticipated AI Product & Program Manager opportunity supporting AI initiatives within the Minecraft ecosystem. This hybrid role in Redmond, Washington, combines product management, AI enablement, and workflow optimization. The role supports adoption of modern AI tools, coordinates cross-functional development, and contributes to scalable AI-powered experiences such as recommendations, search, and content creation. It spans product development, internal tooling, and education initiatives, partnering closely with engineering and platform teams to integrate AI into real-world workflows. The position contributes across AI product development, internal enablement, and workflow optimization. It offers exposure to emerging AI capabilities and cross-functional leadership, with the opportunity to influence how AI is operationalized across the platform. The anticipated work arrangement is hybrid, with three days onsite in Redmond, WA. This is a W-2 contract opportunity that may extend up to 18 months total, subject to performance, budget, and client discretion. The estimated start date is TBD, and the stated rate is $55–$61 per hour.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
2–4 years of experience in product or project management within technology environments.
Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and current tools, with hands-on experimentation or application.
Experience managing cross-functional teams and delivering technical solutions.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels.
Hands-on experience with modern AI tools and workflows, such as LLMs, agentic systems, and multi-step automation, including practical application in product or internal tooling environments.
Product and project management expertise, including managing roadmaps, timelines, budgets, and cross-functional delivery in technical environments.
Strong stakeholder collaboration across engineering, product, and business teams to drive adoption and alignment.
Experience supporting or building AI-driven features such as recommendations, search, or workflow automation tools.

Responsibilities

Support AI initiatives across product, enablement, and internal workflow pillars.
Act as a liaison for strategic partnerships, such as GitHub, coordinating across teams to support AI-driven development.
Contribute to AI-powered product features, including marketplace recommendations, search, and content discovery.
Coordinate training sessions and drive adoption of AI tools as part of AI enablement efforts.
Prototype and support internal AI tools to improve team efficiency and workflows.
Manage project timelines, scope, and deliverables across multiple concurrent initiatives.
Partner with engineering and product teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Facilitate testing, validation, and rollout of AI-enabled features and tools.
