About The Position

Within Verizon’s Marketing Technology and Strategy team, we’re adding a Product Manager who will drive the vision and execution of AI-powered marketing solutions. You’ll partner with marketing leaders to understand their biggest challenges, design the strategy and AI systems to solve them, and own the full lifecycle from discovery through launch. You’ll balance business impact with technical feasibility, shipping faster, reducing churn, and unlocking new revenue streams. This is a high impact role that demands product instinct, AI fluency, and the ability to prototype using modern AI tools to validate ideas at speed. You’ll work across strategy, technical teams, and marketing stakeholders to identify high-friction problems, architect solutions that scale, and drive adoption across the business. Your core job is shipping products that matter and the AI tooling is how you prove the concept before scaling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Six or more years of experience with product management or technical product ownership experience shipping at least one full product or major feature end-to-end
  • Six or more years of experience with value road-mapping, feature design, and prioritization frameworks
  • Experience working with AI or machine learning systems, either as a PM managing technical teams or as a hands-on builder prototyping with AI tooling.
  • Experience with marketing workflows and solving marketing pain points with technical solutions.
  • Experience using new tools quickly and prototyping using Claude Code, Curser, VS Code, OpenAI Codex, Google Antigravity, Python, or similar no-code AI platforms

  • Experience building or shipping within a marketing technology organization
  • Track record of shipping agentic systems or multi step AI workflows
  • Hands on experience with LLM architectures, RAG systems, or prompt engineering
  • Background in go-to-market strategy or marketing operations
  • Portfolio of shipped side projects or products you’ve built

Responsibilities

  • Own the long-term AI product vision, identifying high-friction areas in marketing (e.g., audience discovery) and architecting AI-powered solutions to solve them.
  • Lead rapid prototyping (POCs) by personally developing initial versions of AI agents, using Claude Code, Python, LangChain, or similar frameworks to prove value before scaling.
  • Prioritize the AI backlog, making decisive trade-offs based on both business impact and technical feasibility.
  • Build and maintain the core AI capabilities ensuring they are scalable, reusable, and have easy integration across common marketing/sales tech stacks.
  • Engineer RAG pipelines and context-aware systems that democratize data access for non-technical users, reducing "time-to-insight" from weeks to minutes.
  • Act as the Lead Product Manager, maintaining a consolidated backlog that balances new feature code, technical debt, and model optimization.
  • Develop and code automated "human-in-the-loop" guardrails to ensure all AI-generated content meets legal, privacy, and brand-safety standards.
  • Establish MLOps best practices for the squad, including versioning datasets, monitoring model drift, and managing deployment cycles.
  • Define and track Success Metrics that matter: from 20% capacity unlocks (FTE) to technical KPIs like throughput and hallucination rates.
  • Serve as the technical authority for the "build squad," providing mentorship through code reviews and architectural guidance.
  • Communicate complex technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders, evangelizing AI solutions to drive organization-wide adoption.
