AI Product Manager

Globality, Inc.•Palo Alto, CA
•$150,000 - $250,000•Hybrid

About The Position

Globality is an autonomous sourcing platform that manages the intake-to-award process. It builds agentic technology for global enterprises to source goods and services, with the platform interpreting purchase intent, generating sourcing materials, evaluating suppliers, and executing negotiation strategies. The AI Product Manager will own the agent and AI layer of Glo, including product decisions spanning agent architecture and orchestration through the interfaces customers and their agents use to work with Glo. The primary objective is to evolve Glo toward headless operation, allowing customers to run sourcing through assistants and tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Slack, connected through agent interfaces such as MCP. The role defines how agents reason, use tools, coordinate, and earn customer trust, with success measured by customer outcomes. The role is hands-on: product managers prototype ideas with AI coding and design tools, put working versions in front of customers, and partner with engineers to ship them. The AI Product Manager works daily with Engineering, Design, and Customer teams and reports into the Product organization. The position is in-office four days a week in Palo Alto, with one day available to work wherever the employee is most effective.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of product management experience, including a record of shipping and scaling B2B or enterprise software products.
  • At least 1 year of experience building an AI enterprise product or agentic platform, including taking AI features or agents from concept to production.
  • Working knowledge of LLM-based systems, including prompting, tool use, retrieval, agent orchestration, evaluation, and failure modes; familiarity with agent interfaces and protocols such as MCP and assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT.
  • Hands-on building experience using AI coding and design tools such as Claude Code to create prototypes, internal tools, or product features, and comfort working in a codebase alongside engineers.
  • Experience defining quality metrics and acceptance criteria for probabilistic systems and using them to make release decisions.
  • Experience working with enterprise customers on requirements, security reviews, integrations, and adoption.
  • Track record of owning product outcomes end to end, making high-stakes decisions amid ambiguity, and writing precise requirements engineers can build from.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to align technical, commercial, and executive stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Links to things the candidate has built.
  • Sourcing or procurement experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own the roadmap for Glo's agent capabilities, set priorities with company leadership, and decide what to build, stop, or pursue next.
  • Lead Glo's evolution to headless operation by defining and shipping MCP servers, APIs, and agent interfaces for customers to request, run, and approve sourcing events through tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Slack.
  • Build prototypes of agent capabilities and workflows using tools such as Claude Code, and test ideas with customers and engineers before committing to a full build.
  • Write requirements and user stories for agent capabilities, orchestration, tool integrations, and interfaces; work with engineers through delivery, test builds, tune prompts and evaluations, and contribute to the codebase where useful.
  • Own success metrics for agent capabilities, including task success, reliability, latency, cost per task, adoption, and the share of sourcing activity through agent channels; connect these metrics to customer outcomes such as cycle time and savings.
  • Define AI quality evaluation criteria and release thresholds, build test sets with the Data Product Manager, review agent outputs with sourcing domain experts, and monitor production performance.
  • Gather insights from customer conversations, Customer Success, and usage data to guide product direction.
  • Work with Design to make agent decisions transparent and auditable across Glo and assistant surfaces such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Slack.
  • Track developments in models, protocols, frameworks, and assistant platforms, and decide what to adopt, build on, or build internally.
  • Lead launches end to end, including positioning, enablement, and customer communications.
