About The Position

1mind is hiring its first product manager dedicated to the agent runtime and orchestration layer for its AI-led go-to-market workforce, called Superhumans. The role owns how agents plan, call tools, share memory, hand off work, and are evaluated. The product manager will work directly with the GenAI team and report to the Chief Product Officer, turning the runtime and orchestration layer into a platform used by other product managers, forward-deployed engineers, and customers. The role will develop a shared runtime for multiple agent roles, design coordination among agents across customer journeys, and make configurable GTM plays into a product. It will also define evaluation standards and release gates, develop APIs and configuration and administration experiences, and maintain a weekly shipping cadence. The position calls for writing technical product specifications and prototyping before documenting solutions. It is fully remote and may be performed from any location in the United States.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of product management experience, including at least 2 years shipping LLM-based agents to production users.
  • Experience owning a product where model behavior was the product.
  • Hands-on knowledge of tool calling, planning loops, memory and retrieval, multi-agent handoff patterns, and their failure modes; able to interpret agent traces.
  • Experience building or owning an evaluation harness and using it to gate releases.
  • Technical ability to specify data models, state machines, and API shapes and explain their tradeoffs.
  • Comfort making decisions with incomplete data and shipping weekly.
  • Clear writing skills, including concise PRDs and quantitative evaluation reports.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience at an AI-native company, or on a large platform team paired with founder or early-stage startup experience.
  • Exposure to fine-tuning or reinforcement learning, such as SFT, DPO, reward-based training on outcome-labeled data, or per-tenant adapters.
  • Experience with voice or real-time conversational agents, including latency and interruption handling.
  • GTM domain experience, such as carrying a quota, managing a customer-success book, or building products for those who do.
  • Experience with workflow or orchestration products at the platform level.
  • Enterprise platform experience involving administration surfaces, permissions, and audit.

Responsibilities

  • Own the agent runtime used by Superhumans, including planning, tool calling, context-graph memory reads and writes, guardrails, and the Assist, Co-pilot, and Autonomous trust ladder.
  • Design multi-agent orchestration, including handoffs across the customer journey, shared state across deals or accounts, and conflict resolution when agents attempt to act on the same contact.
  • Turn GTM orchestrations into configurable packaged plays, defining primitives such as triggers, steps, agent assignments, and human checkpoints.
  • Build and own an evaluation harness for agent behavior, including task-level success, objection-to-advance rate, escalation precision, hallucination rate, and tool-error rate; set release gates and own the performance dashboard.
  • Define platform APIs, configuration, and administration experiences for product teams, forward-deployed engineers, and enterprise administrators, including per-enterprise adapters and fine-tuning hooks.
  • Run a weekly shipping cadence with GenAI and engineering, involving enablement and customer success before each release.
  • Write engineering specifications covering data models, state machines, API shapes, and tradeoffs, and prototype in code or no-code tools before writing documentation.
