NorthwoodsDublin, OH

About The Position

The AI Product Manager is responsible for translating product strategy into execution-ready work while driving product delivery, adoption, and measurable business outcomes for assigned Northwoods products and services. This role is explicitly AI-native: candidates must bring day-one experience leveraging AI across the full product lifecycle—from discovery, research, and requirements through delivery, validation, launch, and optimization—to improve speed, quality, decision-making, and customer value. Working in close partnership with Lead Product Managers, Engineering, Design, QA, Delivery, and Commercial teams, this role bridges product vision and execution while modeling and advancing AI adoption across the team. The Product Manager must be fluent in current AI tools, capabilities, limitations, and applicability to the product lifecycle, and must be able to coach others to use AI effectively, responsibly, and consistently in day-to-day product work. As Northwoods expands AI-enabled capabilities, this role is accountable for identifying, shaping, and operationalizing practical, trustworthy, and explainable AI opportunities across products and internal workflows. Demonstrated ability to evaluate where AI should be applied—and where it should not—while driving adoption with cross-functional partners is a core requirement of the role.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Product Delivery, or related roles within SaaS or technology-enabled organizations, with demonstrated hands-on use of AI across the product lifecycle as a core part of day-to-day execution.
  • Demonstrated experience working closely with engineering teams in Agile/SCRUM environments, including applying AI tools to accelerate discovery, requirements development, delivery, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong experience with Jira, backlog management, workflow documentation, and release processes.
  • Experience with Figma, product analytics tools, and modern SaaS product workflows, including AI-enabled product management practices and tools; this experience is strongly preferred and hands-on AI fluency is required.
  • Experience in government, public sector, Healthcare, Human Services, or enterprise SaaS strongly preferred.
  • Relevant degree preferred (computer science, business, engineering, information systems, design, or related field).
  • Strong understanding of Agile, SCRUM, backlog management, and product delivery best practices.
  • Demonstrated, day-one proficiency with AI and agentic workflows in product management is required, including using AI to translate product ideas into clear user stories, automate product workflows, author acceptance criteria, and produce implementation-ready requirements.
  • Strong product judgment with the ability to balance customer needs, technical constraints, and business priorities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and shifting priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve ambiguity quickly and confidently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence across technical and non-technical teams, and coach others in effective ways of working.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
  • Required working knowledge of AI applications, automation tools, and modern product development practices, including the ability to evaluate applicability across the product lifecycle and coach others on effective adoption.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

  • Gather feedback before, during, and after releases to inform iteration and continuous improvement.
  • Identify product gaps, usability issues, adoption barriers, and enhancement opportunities based on customer feedback and product performance.
  • Make data-driven recommendations to improve product usability, efficiency, adoption, and customer satisfaction over time, including recommendations for AI-enabled enhancements and workflow improvements grounded in customer value and operational practicality.

  • Identify and drive opportunities to embed AI capabilities that improve customer workflows or operational efficiency, applying sound judgment about feasibility, trustworthiness, explainability, and measurable value.
  • Lead experimentation, prototyping, and process improvement efforts related to AI-enabled product development, and coach teammates on effective AI usage to accelerate broader adoption across the product organization.
  • Partner closely with Lead Product Managers, Engineering, Design, QA, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Delivery teams to ensure coordinated execution and to advance effective adoption of AI-enabled practices across cross-functional workflows.
  • Communicate priorities, trade-offs, risks, and requirements clearly across teams, including educating stakeholders on AI capabilities, limitations, applicability, and implementation considerations relevant to the product lifecycle.
