About The Position

At AnswerRocket, we build transformative AI solutions that drive measurable results for Fortune 2000 Enterprises. For over a decade, we’ve helped industry leaders across sectors from consumer goods and construction to healthcare and financial services, harness AI to achieve tangible business outcomes. Our strength is the composition of our team: developers, data scientists, designers, architects, and AI/ML experts working alongside senior-level consultants. This combination allows us to solve enterprise AI challenges from strategy through implementation and optimization, and it is why some of the world’s largest companies seek us out. You will sit at the intersection of product thinking, AI architecture, and client delivery, driving bespoke AI-first solutions across complex enterprise engagements in healthcare, construction, finance, and consumer goods. You will own the full lifecycle of client solutions — from business requirements and scope definition through to working prototypes and production-ready specifications. You'll shape how AI is embedded into our clients' most critical workflows, and you'll do it with a mindset that treats AI as the first tool, not the last resort. You'll join the AI Business Transformation practice at AnswerRocket — a team focused on delivering high-quality, bespoke AI analytics solutions for enterprise clients. The practice operates across verticals with a staffing model that flexes by engagement complexity: you will work alongside lead consultants and report directly to the Practice Lead.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in a product, consulting, or solution design role — with clear ownership of complex, large-scale engagements
  • Deep, genuine AI-first orientation: you default to AI approaches, you've built things with LLMs, and you can articulate why an AI solution is or isn't the right call
  • Ability to build and validate working solutions — whether that's through code, AI-assisted development, or rapid prototyping tools
  • Experience owning product requirements end-to-end: use cases, acceptance criteria, capability maps, and handoff to engineering
  • Comfort with data and databases — you don't need to be a DBA, but you should understand how data is structured and how that shapes what AI can and can't do with it
  • Track record of managing large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders, workstreams, and ambiguous scope
  • Strong written and verbal communication — you can run a client workshop and write a PRD with equal confidence

Nice To Haves

  • Domain experience in one or more of: healthcare, construction, financial services, or supply chain / CPG
  • Hands-on experience with agentic AI systems, multi-step reasoning pipelines, or LLM evaluation frameworks
  • Experience in a consulting or professional services environment — you understand the client-delivery dynamic
  • Exposure to brand analytics, consumer insights, or market research data environments
  • Experience with BI or analytics platforms (Tableau, Power BI, or similar) as a product or consulting context
  • Familiarity with vector databases, embedding pipelines, or retrieval-augmented generation in production

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end product delivery for bespoke AI engagements — from requirements definition through go-live and iteration
  • Drive scope discovery and gap analysis, surfacing what the client doesn't yet know they need
  • Translate complex business problems into structured, testable AI solution designs
  • Define and maintain solution roadmaps, managing prioritization across competing stakeholder needs
  • Build and maintain business requirements artifacts that are traceable, precise, and engineering-ready
  • Design multi-step agentic workflows — defining how agents plan, what they act on, when they escalate, and when they stop
  • Prototype and validate AI solutions directly — you find a way to make things tangible, with or without traditional engineering support
  • Build human-in-the-loop into the architecture from day one — knowing which decisions belong to AI, which belong to humans, and how handoffs should work in practice
  • Evaluate agent outputs rigorously — you define what correct looks like before anything runs, not after
  • Lead discovery sessions, stakeholder workshops, and solution alignment meetings with VP- and C-suite client contacts
  • Manage multiple concurrent engagements at different complexity levels simultaneously
  • Serve as a credible strategic voice on AI capability, limitation, and risk — especially where clients are AI-naive
  • Build client trust through transparency: rigorous answer quality thinking, clear provenance, and honest uncertainty quantification
  • Mentor delivery-focused consultants and contribute to team methodology and toolkits
  • Help shape how the practice approaches vertical expansion, staffing models, and engagement frameworks
  • Identify and surface new solution patterns that can be replicated across the portfolio

Benefits

  • health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid Time Off
  • parental leave
