AI Product Engineer
About The Position
We are building the foundational layers of our Physical AI Scientist platform, focusing on Physical AI that can operate scientific instruments with human-level dexterity and Scientific AI that can analyze results, reason about next steps, and close the loop autonomously. This is an ambitious mission for a team of ambitious people with high ownership. We are a collaborative team of passionate, mission-driven engineers from top tech companies who enjoy moving fast and learning new things. We engage in intense discussions about engineering and robotics, and resolve conflicts quickly and empathetically.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience shipping real software in production
- Practical experience building AI-driven workflows into products
- Professional experience building and scaling production systems, including APIs, data pipelines, and distributed services
- Strong Python and/or Typescript skills
- Strong product instincts: ability to scope, iterate, and deliver under ambiguity
Responsibilities
- Help us build our Scientific AI tools for customers and accelerate the pace of scientific discovery
- Develop agentic workflows that plan, execute, and verify multi-step tasks
- Ship customer-facing features end-to-end, from prototype to production
- Leverage your expertise in AI and product building to help define our roadmap
