About The Position

Booz Allen is seeking a senior AI Platform Engineer to develop and implement end-to-end software solutions that modernize client systems and help address national security challenges. The role focuses on creating user-focused artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions that improve organizational efficiency and decision-making. The engineer will account for the broader ecosystem and operating environment, plan for future functionality and enhancements, and build skills in AI and cloud technologies.

Requirements

• Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale production systems.
• Experience with systems integration across various technologies and platforms.
• Experience with cloud engineering in AWS.
• Experience programming in Python.
• Experience with Kubernetes administration and deployment patterns.
• Experience implementing and scaling observability solutions, including APM, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, or Prometheus.
• Experience leading technical initiatives and influencing organizational change.
• Experience assisting with developing technical policies and governance frameworks.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of experience in software engineering, or 16+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AI inference technologies, including vLLM or LiteLLM.
• Experience with agentic frameworks, including LangChain.
• Experience with vector databases and embedding systems.
• Experience with high-performance computing or distributed systems.
