About The Position

We are seeking an experienced AI Platform Engineer with expertise in Azure, Azure OpenAI, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, AI Governance, and Cloud Security to build and support secure, scalable AI platforms in a regulated healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will automate cloud infrastructure, implement governance controls, and enable development teams to deploy enterprise AI solutions securely.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years of cloud platform engineering experience, with 2+ years focused on Azure (or comparable hyperscaler).
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/Bicep), CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions), and policy-as-code frameworks.
• Working knowledge of AI/ML platform services: Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry, vector databases, model gateways, or equivalent.
• Experience implementing technical controls for regulated data environments (HIPAA, PCI, or similar).
• Strong understanding of identity, networking, encryption, and secrets management patterns in the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage AI platform infrastructure using Azure, Terraform, Bicep, and ARM Templates.
• Configure Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, AI Search, MuleSoft, and Salesforce Agentforce.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, Azure Policy, RBAC, security, monitoring, and secrets management.
• Enforce HIPAA, CMS, AI Governance, audit logging, and compliance requirements.
• Develop reusable platform components and support engineering teams.
• Monitor platform performance, reliability, security, and cost optimization.
• Maintain technical documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
