About The Position

This role involves designing, building, testing, and deploying enterprise workflow automations. The engineer will integrate various platforms such as collaboration, HR, finance, project management, and AI using APIs. The position focuses on replacing manual processes with automated, event-driven workflows, analyzing business processes to identify automation opportunities, and developing API integrations and custom automation logic. When APIs are unavailable, the engineer will build browser-based automations. The role also includes creating and testing workflow prototypes, adhering to workflow governance, version control, testing, and release practices, and developing reusable automation templates and technical documentation. Collaboration with security, IT, and architecture teams to meet enterprise standards is expected, as is supporting business users and promoting responsible automation practices. Debugging workflow, API, authentication, and data-payload issues, and developing/explaining automation solutions using an IDE are key responsibilities.

Requirements

  • SaaS workflow automation and orchestration experience
  • REST API integration experience
  • Python, JavaScript, or Node.js
  • JSON and API payloads
  • OAuth, API keys, and authentication methods
  • Low-code, no-code, or programmatic automation platforms
  • RPA or browser-based automation
  • Ability to write and troubleshoot automation code using Python, JavaScript, or Node.js
  • Ability to solve API integration and workflow automation problems in a live technical setting
  • Experience building or supporting integrations across SaaS platforms.
  • Working knowledge of REST APIs and common integration patterns.
  • Experience translating business requirements into technical workflows.
  • Experience managing multiple automation or integration tasks.
  • Ability to work with technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to work onsite at least three days per week.
  • Ability to explain technical decisions and problem-solving steps during solution development.
