About The Position

We are looking for an AI-Native React Engineer to build a composable React widget framework and a library of embeddable, data-rich experiences that surface PropertyRadar’s property and owner data in new contexts. This is a greenfield frontend project where you will design the architecture, component model, and developer ergonomics. The role offers direct visibility to senior leadership and involves close collaboration on scope and tradeoffs. PropertyRadar is a hyperlocal lead generation platform for property-centric small businesses, providing actionable insights from public records data. We are a profitable, owner-operated company investing in a modern data and frontend platform for future growth.

Requirements

  • Agentic-native development: Cursor (or Claude Code) is your primary IDE.
  • Demonstrated experience where agentic coding meaningfully improved output velocity and quality, with specific examples.
  • Strong opinions and experience in agent orchestration, including scoping work, task decomposition, output review, and manual intervention.
  • Expert-level React 18 and TypeScript knowledge.
  • Deep understanding of Tailwind CSS and Radix primitives.
  • Production experience with Vite as a build tool for libraries and/or applications.
  • Proven ability to architect complex React frontends and select appropriate patterns.
  • Experience building performant, data-heavy UIs at scale, including complex tables, filters, maps, sorting, and pagination.
  • Proficiency in integrating REST and GraphQL APIs with robust error and edge-case handling.
  • Experience building or shipping against sandboxed iframe architectures and understanding their security model.
  • Ability to write and reason about Content Security Policies (CSPs).
  • Experience implementing communication protocols between iframes and hosts, such as JSON-RPC 2.0 over WebSockets, including message validation and origin checks.
  • Familiarity with cross-origin behavior, third-party cookie restrictions, and practical workarounds for embedded applications.
  • Strong ownership and judgment, with the ability to drive clarity without perfect specs.
  • Concise written communication skills for a remote, async team.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience with the OpenAI Embeddings component kit or comparable embedded-app component libraries.
  • Experience shipping widgets or embedded apps within a third-party host environment.
  • Experience with mapping libraries such as Mapbox, Leaflet, or Google Maps.
  • Background in PropTech, real estate data, or products built for small businesses.
  • Experience in component library design or design-system engineering.
  • Previous experience in an AI-first engineering transformation at another company.

Responsibilities

  • Build a composable React widget framework designed to run across multiple embedding contexts (sandboxed iframes, web components, shadow DOM) with a consistent component model and clean developer ergonomics.
  • Develop property and owner data experiences, including profile views, owner detail panels, interactive maps, lead-gen flows, and outreach actions, all designed to be embedded and reused.
  • Integrate AI-powered features within widgets, leveraging LLM capabilities to enhance data exploration and lead workflows.
  • Create a reusable component library with a strong focus on UX, pixel-accurate polish, and accessibility.
  • Ship at agentic-native velocity, delivering features at a significantly faster pace than traditional React teams.
  • Own the specification process, asking clarifying questions, making sound tradeoffs, and driving delivery.
  • Contribute to raising the team's overall technical ceiling by sharing patterns, prompts, and orchestration techniques.
  • Collaborate closely with the VP of Engineering, CEO, and Founder on scope and tradeoffs.

Benefits

  • Profitable, owner-operated business
  • Direct access to VP of Engineering, CEO, and Founder
  • Remote-first, async-friendly work environment
  • EOS operating framework
  • No VC pressure
