AI-Native Builder Product Owner
About The Position
We are seeking an AI-Native Builder Product Owner to accelerate entry into new scientific domains by rapidly prototyping and validating application-layer solutions on top of our platform. This role sits at the intersection of: Scientific domain expertise AI-assisted software development Product ownership Application architecture You will compress the cycle between domain insight and working software — while partnering closely with Engineering and Product Management to ensure production-grade outcomes. This is not a traditional PM or engineering role. You are a builder with domain depth and AI fluency.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development or technical product ownership
- Strong hands-on coding experience (Python, TypeScript, Java, or similar)
- Proven use of AI tools to build or accelerate software development
- Experience operating in version-controlled, production-grade environments
- Experience working directly with technical engineering teams
Nice To Haves
- Deep experience in a relevant scientific domain (e.g., QC Manufacturing, genomics, regulated laboratory environments)
- Experience building configurable or workflow-driven systems
- Familiarity with SaaS architecture and API-driven platforms
- Understanding of regulated environments (e.g., validation, auditability, compliance)
