Requirements

Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or an additional 4 years of experience)
Possesses expert knowledge designing and implementing AI/ML governance frameworks for enterprise-scale environments
Demonstrated expertise with responsible AI practices, model risk management, and regulatory compliance
Must meet DoD 8140 requirements
Active Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI, or TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required, depending on position

Responsibilities

Develop and enforce policies for AI/ML model development, validation, and deployment.
Establish review and approval processes for AI/ML models.
Implement access controls for model APIs and services.
Create and maintain model inventories and documentation.
Develop standards for model performance monitoring and evaluation.
Establish procedures for model updates and versioning.
Ensure compliance with ethical AI principles and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with security teams to implement model security controls.
Develop frameworks for identifying and mitigating AI bias.
Lead model governance committee activities.
Create metrics and reports on model governance compliance.
Provide guidance on responsible AI best practices.
Evaluate and implement tools for model governance and compliance.
Train teams on model governance procedures.
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on AI/ML risk management.
