AI/ML Intern – Industrial/Process Engineer

As an AI & ML Industrial/Process Intern, you’ll apply your technical expertise to guide model selection and ensure AI solutions meet real-world needs
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Industrial/Process Engineering, or related field.
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms.
- Proficiency in Python, R, or Java.
- Experience with AI/ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone)
- Knowledge of Azure cloud platforms.
- Coding experience (Python or similar).
- Ability to translate customer needs into technical specs
Responsibilities
- Analyze production and operational processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks
- Collect, clean, and structure real-world data
- Assist in the design and development of AI/ML algorithms to optimize industrial processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and understand process challenges that can be addressed through AI/ML solutions.
- Conduct data analysis and visualization to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Support the implementation of machine learning models, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
- Participate in the testing and validation of AI/ML applications to ensure they meet performance and reliability standards.
- Document findings, methodologies, and results to contribute to project reports and presentations for stakeholders.
