About The Position

cFocus Software is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to support the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) on-site in the Washington DC, MD, & VA area. This role requires an active TS/SCI + CI Polygraph clearance. The engineer will provide technical leadership for AI/ML development efforts, focusing on designing, developing, and deploying advanced AI/ML capabilities, including agentic AI systems. A key responsibility is ensuring AI/ML systems comply with DIA Quality Assurance Framework (QAF) requirements, which involves conducting model validation, bias testing, and performance optimization. The position also involves coordinating with data scientists, software engineers, and mission stakeholders, and staying current with emerging AI/ML technologies to recommend innovative solutions.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI + CI Polygraph clearance
• An advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• Demonstrated experience leading AI/ML implementation projects and establishing AI operations environments

Responsibilities

• Provides technical leadership for AI/ML development efforts under optional DMA and CIO7 tasks.
• Leads design, development, and deployment of advanced AI/ML capabilities including agentic AI systems.
• Ensure AI/ML systems comply with DIA Quality Assurance Framework (QAF) requirements.
