About The Position

We are looking for a PhD graduate to join our team in the Analytic Capabilities Group. This role involves tackling complex research, engineering, and analytical challenges critical to our nation. The team designs and develops scalable software systems that leverage artificial intelligence, data science, and visualization across various domains, including cybersecurity, social media analysis, healthcare, and image processing. As a member of the team, you will collaborate with a passionate group focused on creating cutting-edge solutions that address national priorities and make a real-world impact. You will dive into exciting projects and apply your skills in areas like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computational Social Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, DevOps, Signal and Image Processing, and Mathematics.

Requirements

  • Have, or soon to have, a PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related technical field
  • Able to acquire an Interim Secret level security clearance by your start date and can ultimately acquire a Top Secret level clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Python, Javascript, Java, Kotlin, or C++
  • Experience with AI assurance, explainable AI, or related techniques
  • Experience with AI coding harnesses or related methods for agentic software development
  • Experience with modern UI frameworks such as Vue, React, or Angular
  • Experience with LLM engineering such as prompt design, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or agentic frameworks
