About The Position

The Senior AI Market Intelligence Analyst is a strategic contributor within TechInsights' AI semiconductor practice, focusing on the fast-moving AI compute and semiconductor landscape. Utilizing their experience and network in the AI compute and semiconductor landscape, the incumbent independently drives high-impact research and analysis, leveraging TechInsights' proprietary intelligence — including teardown analysis, technical costing, and demand intelligence — to deliver original, market-defining insights across Datacenter AI trends, Edge AI (PC, Tablet, Mobile, Wearable, Consumer Electronics), and Physical AI (Robotics).

Operating with a high degree of autonomy, this individual owns end-to-end research coverage across assigned domains: defining analytical frameworks, setting research agendas, and delivering data-driven authoritative insight that directly informs client decision-making at the executive level. The analyst plays a formative role in shaping the team's intellectual direction, establishing methodological best practices, and elevating the overall quality and credibility of the practice's output. They collaborate closely with practice leadership to identify emerging coverage areas, develop new research offerings, and influence TechInsights' long-term AI intelligence strategy.

This individual is a highly visible, credible voice for TechInsights in the broader market: presenting at conferences and trade shows, leading panels, engaging proactively with media and industry stakeholders, and driving the practice's brand authority across the TechInsights Platform. They independently cultivate and deepen client relationships, serving as a primary point of contact.

• Brings deep, applied expertise in semiconductors and technology ecosystems built through years of hands-on research, industry engagement, and a genuine passion for the field that drives continuous self-directed learning well beyond formal training
• Tackles complex, ambiguous problems independently. Pursues knowledge with relentless intellectual curiosity and strategic intent, asks the questions others won't, builds the trust and rapport needed to unlock insights that aren't publicly available, and consistently surfaces intelligence that yields competitive advantage
• Maintains a high-value, established professional network spanning the AI compute and semiconductor ecosystem, media, press, and analyst communities — actively cultivating relationships that translate into exclusive access, early signals, and visible thought-leadership opportunities
• Synthesizes complex information from multiple primary and secondary sources into clear, high-conviction conclusions — exercising independent analytical judgment and advising practice leadership on strategic implications.
• Communicates with authority and precision — a compelling writer and confident presenter who crafts narratives that resonate with technical and non-technical audiences alike, and who is recognized internally and externally as a credible, engaging voice on technology intelligence.
• Operates fluently and effectively across multicultural and multilingual environments; brings an informed, nuanced perspective on geopolitics and AI sovereignty, and integrates these dynamics into research and client conversations as a core analytical lens
• English speaker, ideally mastering one or two extra European languages – French and German. Notions of Asian languages to ease communication with teams and networks in the eastern regions are a welcome asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead coverage of AI Model/Compute Trends, Edge AI, and Physical AI delivering authoritative intelligence with full accountability for quality and impact, defining research priorities with practice leadership
• Lead the team's core deliverables, including data collection, conducting expert interviews, and synthesizing quantitative and qualitative intelligence into high-conviction, market-defining narratives
• Deliver timely, incisive event-driven analysis on market-moving AI and compute announcements, establishing TechInsights as an authoritative voice
• Author flagship research that leverages TechInsights' exclusive firsthand intelligence, proprietary data, and analyst community — setting the standard for depth, originality, and analytical rigor for the practice
• Serve as a senior editorial and quality authority across compute and AI coverage areas, establishing and upholding standards for analytical quality, consistency, and intellectual integrity
• Independently research, write, and publish high-impact analysis across compute and AI coverage domains, building recognized and cited work
• Build and steward a high-value network of industry contacts, journalists, and conference organizers — proactively generating organic thought-leadership opportunities and positioning TechInsights' AI research for the market
• Drive TechInsights' AI coverage visibility through a commanding, consistent presence across social media and owned media channels — setting the tone, cadence, and editorial standard for practice’s external voice
• Craft compelling, authoritative narratives that distill complex technical analysis into sharp, accessible insights for clients, media, analysts, and the broader investment and technology community
• Represent TechInsights at premier industry events — operate as a recognized and sought-after authority across the semiconductor ecosystem, representing TechInsights as a leading intelligence brand, and establishing a differentiated presence in the AI compute community
• Own client relationships on your work, independently prioritizing and responding to client requests, leading recurring customer meetings, and delivering forecast updates and expert commentary that drive measurable client satisfaction and retention
• Partner with sales leadership, leading high-stakes presentations, articulating the value of TechInsights' AI research, and directly supporting new business development and renewals
• Represent TechInsights as a senior ambassador - convening conversations, surfacing actionable market intelligence on competitive positioning and client priorities, and translating field intelligence into strategic recommendations for the practice
