About The Position

RiVidium is seeking an AI / Machine Learning Specialist to support the planned MODES III team for Military Community and Family Policy (MC&FP). This role is crucial for IT, Cybersecurity, and Data Operations - Modernization & Innovation, aiming to deliver mission-focused outcomes for service members, families, and stakeholders. The specialist will implement PWS C.5.3.13 Innovation initiatives, which includes developing AI/ML models, integrating automation pipelines, and ensuring secure deployment within DoD environments. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• Relevant experience aligned to the role and labor category; openings may be filled at Mid (5-8 yrs), Senior (10-15 yrs).
• Ability to satisfy applicable Government personnel security requirements for the assigned role.
• For IT and cybersecurity workforce positions, applicable DoD 8140 training and certification requirements will apply upon award.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills in a mission-focused delivery environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with data pipelines, dashboards, visualization tools, analytics, or reporting automation, as applicable to the role.
• Ability to translate operational data into actionable insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with data quality, governance, and performance metrics in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Support design, development, or integration of AI and machine learning capabilities aligned to mission needs.
• Build or refine models, workflows, and supporting data processes in secure environments.
• Coordinate with data, engineering, and stakeholder teams to translate use cases into practical solutions.
• Help ensure AI/ML solutions are measurable, supportable, and responsibly deployed.
