AI Machine Learning Engineer 1-KR-7455

Onyx Point•Hanover, MD

About The Position

The team supports web-based applications that automate data management for intelligence community data custodians. These products facilitate information capture and approvals for compliant movement of data through the customer mission space, helping standardize and simplify data movement, reuse, and integration with downstream tools. The AI Machine Learning Engineer designs, creates, tests, and productizes AI/ML algorithms to address business challenges. Models must learn and make predictions according to business logic developed to meet customer requirements. The role covers model architecture, interaction with data pipelines, application and interpretation of metrics, and presentation of results. It also requires familiarity with application development, infrastructure management, data engineering, and data governance. The engineer trains, retrains, deploys, schedules, monitors, and improves models using iterative user and system feedback to create scalable, high-performing solutions. The role leads geographically diverse teams and often serves as a primary point of contact for AI-related matters. An active TS/SCI clearance with a current full-scope polygraph and U.S. citizenship are required. The stated salary range is $78,000 to $250,000 per year; the exact salary depends on work location, role, skills, and expertise.
