About The Position

ADI is scaling Enterprise AI to drive measurable business value and broad employee productivity. We’re looking for a detail-oriented Language Engineer to help teams across ADI accelerate and automate workflows using prompt engineering, context design, and evaluation frameworks. This role sits at the intersection of product, data, and applied AI: you’ll design and operationalize prompting and agentic patterns, evaluate and select models, gather and curate data to improve quality, and help drive a responsible rollout aligned to ADI’s Enterprise AI strategy.

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Linguistics, Cognitive Science, Philosophy, Psychology, Literature, HCI, Computer Science or related field.
  • 1+ years in prompt/context engineering with foundational software or data literacy (ability to reason about tools, APIs, data formats, and evaluation).
  • Hands-on experience with prompt design, context window management, and model evaluation.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience shipping AI-assisted workflows into real user environments with success metrics and iteration loops.
  • Familiarity with agentic/orchestration patterns and tool-use workflows (e.g., multi-step task decomposition, retrieval + tool calling), plus evaluation approaches for those systems.
  • Practical skill with building evaluators (LLM-as-judge, rule-based graders, regression test suites) and analyzing results to guide product decisions.
  • Experience partnering with governance/security/compliance processes in enterprise environments and applying policy-aligned guardrails.

Responsibilities

  • Craft, refine, and version prompts and system/context patterns that help ADI teams automate and accelerate high-value tasks (e.g., knowledge assistance, engineering productivity, and enterprise workflow automation).
  • Develop reusable prompt “playbooks” and guardrails that produce consistent outcomes across roles, functions, and content types.
  • Identify failure modes, define labeling rubrics, and drive collection/curation of high-signal datasets to improve response quality and user outcomes
  • Partner with domain SMEs to validate correctness and ensure outputs align with ADI standards and real work needs.

  • supportive environment focused on professional growth
  • competitive compensation and benefits
  • work-life balance
  • opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that make a real impact on the world
  • access to continuous learning opportunities
