About The Position

Stellar Senior Living is seeking a full-time summer AI Intern to join the Stellar Resource Center in Midvale, UT. This role is for a curious undergraduate interested in applying practical AI tools to finance, operations, legal, and HR. The intern will collaborate with staff to identify service enhancements and build AI-driven tools. This is a project-based role that values curiosity, critical thinking, and the ability to translate real-world needs into AI solutions, rather than extensive prior experience.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled undergraduate; any major welcome
• Have used AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) for real work. Class projects and personal projects count, and you should be prepared to talk about how you’ve used AI tools in the past if you’re interviewed
• Strong critical thinker; detail-oriented
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated and genuinely interested in the AI field

Nice To Haves

• Any scripting (Python, JavaScript, VBA, Power Automate)

Responsibilities

• Strategize with leaders in finance, operations, legal, and HR to identify real-world bottlenecks, process improvements, and opportunities for efficiency
• Take on assigned AI projects and work alongside the team to build, deliver, and refine each tool
• Build with Claude, custom skills, and basic scripting in a secure sandbox environment
• Test what you build with the people who’ll use it, and iterate until it works
• Document and demo your work so it keeps running after you leave
