About The Position

Harris Healthcare is building AI into the foundation of how its portfolio operates across 25+ healthcare software businesses. The AI Innovation Specialist will work directly with the VP of AI Innovation to make that happen — through prototyping, enablement, and hands-on partnership with business units. This is a role for someone who's already building with AI and wants to do it at real scale inside a complex organization. The AI Innovation Specialist is eligible for anyone who can work remote within the U.S.

Requirements

3 to 5 years of experience in a technical, product, or innovation-adjacent role
1-3 years of hands-on experience building using AI tools. You've shipped something using Claude, GPT, Cursor, or similar, and you can show your work
Comfortable communicating technical ideas to non-technical audiences
Genuinely curious. You dig into problems, ask good questions, and get as much out of teaching others as you do from learning something new
You follow through. When you take something on, it gets done, and people know they can count on you for it
Positive by default. You bring energy to ambiguous situations and make the people around you better

Nice To Haves

Healthcare or enterprise software background is a plus, not a requirement

Responsibilities

Build AI-powered prototypes that solve real problems across business units, often moving from concept to working demo in a matter of days
Use AI-assisted development tools to ship software faster and show engineering and product teams what's within reach
Work with business unit leaders to find high-value AI opportunities and turn them into concrete projects
Lead and co-facilitate workshops and working sessions that build AI fluency across the organization
Document what works, share findings, and help teams develop repeatable AI practices
Contribute to the development of Harris's AI maturity framework and related tooling
