About The Position

DeNOVO Solutions is seeking a senior AI/ML Implementation Engineer to transform advanced model research into secure, scalable, and operational software capabilities. This role designs, develops, integrates, tests, deploys, and sustains containerized AI-enabled applications that operationalize physics-informed world models, machine learning inference services, RF simulation outputs, data services, and mission-facing analytics. The AI/ML Implementation Engineer will lead software integration, API and microservice development, orchestration, MLOps, DevSecOps, and cloud-native deployment activities to efficiently transition AI capabilities from research prototypes into reliable Government environments. This role works closely with Data Scientists, RF and data engineering personnel, Analysts, and Government stakeholders to meet performance, cybersecurity, interoperability, verification, validation, and scalability requirements throughout the ASP-B lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Senior-level software engineering experience supporting AI/ML-enabled applications and operational software capabilities
  • Experience transforming AI/ML research and prototypes into secure, scalable, and operational software solutions
  • Experience integrating AI/ML models into production or mission-facing software environments
  • Experience developing AI-enabled applications, backend services, and microservices
  • Experience designing and implementing REST APIs
  • Experience developing and deploying containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience supporting MLOps, DevSecOps, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with software orchestration and cloud-native deployment architectures
  • Experience integrating software within secure and classified environments
  • Experience performing software integration, testing, verification, validation, deployment, and sustainment
  • Experience optimizing application performance, scalability, reliability, and security
  • Ability to integrate machine learning inference services, data services, RF simulation outputs, and mission-facing analytics
  • Understanding of cybersecurity and interoperability requirements within Government software environments
  • Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams including Data Scientists, Data Engineers, RF engineers, Analysts, and software engineering personnel
  • Ability to work with Government stakeholders to meet technical, mission, performance, cybersecurity, and scalability requirements
  • Ten (10) to fifteen (15) years of related professional experience supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a computer science or related discipline (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Programming, or Systems Engineering). In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, two (2) additional years of related experience may be substituted.
  • Active TS/SCI with CI Poly Required

Nice To Haves

  • A Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related engineering discipline (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Cyber Security, Engineering or Computer Science) may be substituted for two (2) years of experience.
  • A PhD from an accredited college or university in a related engineering discipline may be substituted for four (4) years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a senior AI/ML implementation engineer responsible for transitioning advanced research into operational mission capabilities
  • Develop secure, scalable, and containerized AI-enabled software applications and services
  • Operationalize physics-informed world models, machine learning inference services, RF simulation outputs, data services, and mission-facing analytics
  • Lead AI/ML model integration into operational software environments
  • Design and implement REST APIs, backend services, and containerized microservices
  • Support MLOps, DevSecOps, CI/CD, orchestration, and cloud-native deployment activities
  • Work across research, engineering, integration, testing, and deployment throughout the ASP-B lifecycle
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists, RF and data engineering personnel, Analysts, and Government stakeholders to deliver reliable operational capabilities
  • Develop AI-enabled software applications and services
  • Integrate AI/ML models into operational software
  • Operationalize physics-informed world models and machine learning inference services
  • Integrate RF simulation outputs, data services, and mission-facing analytics
  • Design and implement REST APIs and backend services

  • Troubleshoot software integration and deployment issues across development and operational environments
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to operationalize AI solutions
  • Work with RF engineering personnel and Analysts to ensure developed capabilities meet mission requirements
  • Support Government stakeholders throughout development, integration, testing, and operational transition
