About The Position

The role spans three areas: AI lifecycle analytics, governance process redesign, and day-to-day Request for Change (RFC) governance operations. The candidate will work alongside an existing client-side product owner and must be capable of operating independently from day one.

Requirements

  • Experience in enterprise AI lifecycle or model governance programs, preferably in a regulated industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to map, critique, and redesign complex governance workflows.
  • Able to gather and translate governance requirements into structured, actionable specifications.
  • Comfortable building working prototypes using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Windsurf) to explore and validate solution ideas.
  • Experienced in writing Jira stories, grooming backlogs with engineering teams, and conducting structured solution testing.
  • Familiar with formal RFC or change control processes in financial services or similarly regulated environments.
  • Strong communicator, credible across business stakeholders, engineering teams, and senior governance forums.

Responsibilities

  • AI Lifecycle Analytics: Analyze the volume of AI initiatives entering and flowing through the governance pipeline. Analyze cycle times at each stage to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies. Produce data-driven insights to inform governance process improvements.
  • AI Lifecycle Governance Process Redesign: Map and critique existing governance workflows. Redesign complex multistep processes into streamlined agentic processes with clearly defined subprocesses (AI agents). Ensure simplified frameworks maintain full control and compliance integrity.
  • Request for Change (RFC) Governance BAU Operations: Act as the primary AI Governance point of contact for reviewing all Requests for Change (RFCs) submitted by AI initiative teams. Ensure timely, consistent, and well-documented governance decisions across all submissions.
