About The Position

The AI Governance Program Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Danaher’s AI Governance Operating Model, including intake of AI requests, coordination of cross-functional reviews, and facilitation of governance committee approvals. The role ensures consistent risk assessment, tracks key performance metrics, and continuously improves processes to enable efficient, compliant, and responsible use of AI across the enterprise. This position reports to the VP, Enterprise Data Strategy and is part of the Data Strategy Organization and will be fully remote.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field required
  • Strong program management experience with the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives
  • Working knowledge of AI technologies, governance frameworks, and applicable regulatory considerations
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities, with the ability to translate insights into executive-ready materials

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS in Data Science, Information Systems, or related field)
  • Experience operating within or supporting governance frameworks (e.g., AI, data, risk, compliance, or IT governance) in a complex, matrixed organization
  • Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., DBS/Lean/Kaizen) and optimizing processes at scale
  • DBS experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end AI governance intake, including coordinating cross-functional reviews, facilitating committee approvals, and documenting decisions
  • Own and continuously improve governance tools and documentation (intake forms, risk assessments, and related materials) based on stakeholder feedback
  • Develop and maintain training resources for both end users and governance committee members to ensure consistent understanding of processes
  • Track, monitor, and report on AI governance KPIs, including preparing insights and summaries for executive audiences
  • Support governance operations by managing committee logistics (agendas, notes, actions), maintaining the AI Governance site, and driving continuous improvement through DBS/kaizen initiatives
