AI Governance Lead
About The Position
This role is responsible for establishing and operating KLA’s AI governance framework across all approved AI platforms, models, agents, and automation capabilities. The focus is on responsible AI adoption, policy enforcement, risk management, compliance, platform guardrails, AI inventory, approval workflows, and executive visibility. The goal is to ensure AI is deployed safely, transparently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with business, legal, security, privacy, and regulatory expectations. This involves developing policies, standards, intake processes, risk frameworks, approval models, executive dashboards, and governance operating models.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, Business, Risk Management, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive IT, governance, risk, compliance, security, data, or AI program leadership experience
- Five (5) years leading cross-functional governance, compliance, risk management, technology oversight, or enterprise transformation initiatives
- Strong understanding of generative AI, machine learning, agentic AI, AI platforms, AI lifecycle management, model governance, data governance, privacy, and security concepts
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate complex AI governance concepts into clear business decisions
