About The Position

This role provides an opportunity to gain exposure to AI, governance, risk, and controls while supporting a strategic and rapidly evolving area within the US Consumer Bank. You will work with a diverse group of stakeholders to help establish governance processes that enable innovation while maintaining appropriate oversight and accountability.

Requirements

  • Demonstrating an understanding of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) lifecycle, and governance requirements, with the ability to identify, assess, and investigate risks while ensuring compliance with applicable standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Governance assurance activities across the AI lifecycle, including control assessments, evidence validation, issue identification, risk evaluation, and remediation oversight.
  • Experience with data collection, cleaning, analysis, and visualization.
  • Experience with data management processes to ensure data accessibility, security, and integrity.
  • Experience in leading teams and coaching employees.
  • Experience in consulting on complex issues and providing advice to resolve escalated issues.
  • Experience in identifying ways to mitigate risk and developing new policies/procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Development and execution of data extraction strategies to gather relevant data from various sources, including internal systems, external databases, and third-party vendors.
  • Analysis of data to identify potential risks and control weaknesses.
  • Provision of data-driven insights and analysis to auditors throughout the audit process.
  • Supporting the development and testing of audit procedures based on data analysis results.
  • Implementation of data management processes to ensure data accessibility, security, and integrity.
  • Advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development and take responsibility for operational effectiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with other functions/ business divisions.
  • Lead a team performing complex tasks, using well developed professional knowledge and skills to deliver on work that impacts the whole business function.
  • Set objectives and coach employees in pursuit of those objectives, appraisal of performance relative to objectives and determination of reward outcomes.
