About The Position

AI gateway solutions (i.e. Kong, LiteLLM) to accommodate various use cases and stand up core AI infrastructure spanning agentic AI, LLM, MCP use cases. This role will serve within the Security team and liaise between AI, Platform, and their team to ensure Security controls are being considered and built into tooling evaluation and implementation plans - acting as a technical bridge between security teams and CTO/platform teams responsible for selecting and implementing AI gateways. The focus is on ensuring security guardrails, governance, and architecture standards are embedded into AI gateway and agentic workflow deployments in a multi-cloud environment.

Requirements

Strong cloud engineering or architecture background (AWS, Azure, GCP), multi-cloud/polycloud preferred
Exposure to AI gateways, API gateways, LLM workflows, or agentic AI architectures
Understanding of AI security, governance, and guardrail frameworks
Ability to translate technical concepts into business/security terms
Hands-on engineering mindset (not purely advisory)
Experience working cross-functionally with security and platform teams
Exposure to AI infrastructure security or governance preferred

Responsibilities

Partner with platform and CTO teams to evaluate AI/LLM gateway technologies
Embed security requirements, guardrails, and governance controls into gateway selection and implementation
Act as a liaison between business, security, and engineering stakeholders
Define and help enforce security standards for AI gateway architectures
Support deployment and operationalization of AI security controls
Provide architectural guidance on AI workflows, MCP integrations, and agentic systems
Evaluate protocol-agnostic and cloud-agnostic gateway solutions
Enable scalable implementation of security guardrails across enterprise AI environments
