We are seeking an AI Front-end Engineer who combines product design sensibilities with strong frontend engineering skills. The ideal candidate is an engineer first, with an exceptional design sense that enhances all their work. This role involves defining and implementing the user interface for AI-native workflows, ensuring our complex enterprise tools are as intuitive as consumer applications. A CS or Engineering degree is not required; we prioritize your portfolio, GitHub profile, and proven track record of shipping products.

Requirements

4+ years of shipping production-grade products
Expertise in modern web technologies: React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind.
Understanding of performance implications of architectural decisions.
Experience using AI tools for development (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, v0.dev, Lovable).
Ability to ship features with velocity and attention to detail.
Strong product thinking and ability to drive outcomes.
Ability to challenge designs that compromise user experience.
Ability to work across the full spectrum from responsive layouts to micro-interactions.

Responsibilities

Architect scalable front-end systems, including reusable component libraries, patterns for state management and API integration, and bundle size optimization.
Ensure the platform performs beautifully at scale, working across responsive layouts and micro-interactions.
Own and ship primary user-facing features, including building core interfaces, integrating with backend APIs, and polishing details to production quality.
Bridge AI capabilities with elegant user experiences by partnering with product and backend engineers.
Use AI tools to rapidly prototype design concepts in code and bridge gaps between teams with working demos.
Dive into Python backends when needed.
