About The Position

EnvisionWare's product landscape spans 48 products and a broad network of hardware and software vendors. We're hiring a Product & Vendor Manager to take ownership of a defined portfolio within that landscape, managing the products, the vendor relationships behind them, and contributing to the development of new products across the business. This is a high-volume, high-autonomy role. At any given time you'll be balancing a large number of concurrent projects and initiatives, so exceptional organization and time management aren't nice-to-haves. They're the core of the job. We expect this person to lean heavily on AI tools to work faster, stay on top of detail, and scale their impact across many moving parts.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience).
  • Hands-on experience with software (or hardware) development. You understand how products get built and can speak credibly with technical teams.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and a genuine enthusiasm for applying them to everyday work.
  • Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and time management, with proven ability to manage many projects at once without dropping threads.
  • Independently motivated and driven, able to set your own priorities and keep momentum without close oversight.
  • Strong communication and relationship-management skills, especially with external vendors.
  • Comfort working fully remotely with self-direction, and willingness to travel occasionally.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior product management or vendor/partner management experience.
  • Experience in a multi-product or portfolio environment.
  • Background in EnvisionWare's domain (for example, library technology or self-service systems).

Responsibilities

  • Own a categorical portfolio of EnvisionWare products, managing their lifecycle, roadmap input, and day-to-day health.
  • Manage the vendor relationships (hardware and software) tied to your portfolio, including contracts, performance, escalations, and ongoing coordination.
  • Contribute to the development of other products across the team, lending product and technical judgment where needed.
  • Juggle a high volume of concurrent projects and initiatives, keeping each organized, tracked, and moving.
  • Use AI tools extensively to accelerate research, documentation, analysis, and project management, actively finding new ways to apply AI to the work.
  • Collaborate across engineering, support, sales, and leadership to keep products and vendor commitments aligned.
