About The Position

Next Street is seeking an AI expert to join a new signature program offered by their client. This program is part of a small business educational initiative designed to help businesses leverage AI for growth and transformation. The role involves serving as a facilitator and mentor for a 12-week program, guiding participants from concept to implementation. The program is a pilot with plans for future iterations. This is an opportunity to share expertise, contribute to AI adoption among small businesses, and work on complex economic and community development challenges.

Requirements

  • Specific expertise in integrating AI into financial workflows.
  • Experience with tools such as QuickBooks and Zero Sheets.
  • Passion for teaching.
  • Deep understanding of AI applications.
  • Ability to accommodate EST working hours.
  • Must be able to work remote using personal devices.
  • Provide detailed and specific information about project expectations, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Provide prompt and accurate payment for services rendered.
  • Clear agreements outlining scope of work, payment terms, and other essential details.
  • Provide structured feedback on program effectiveness to inform future enhancements.
  • Provide structured feedback on participant assignments and deliverables.
  • Provide timely feedback on workflow designs, testing outcomes, and implementation plans.
  • Support participants in troubleshooting and refining their AI-enabled workflows.
  • Collaborate with fellow SMEs and program staff to ensure consistency and quality across cohorts.
  • Participate in onboarding and facilitator preparation activities prior to program launch.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of curriculum and participant experience throughout delivery.
  • Monitor participant progress and engagement within assigned cohorts.
  • Share observations and recommendations on participant outcomes with the program team.
  • Support final participant presentations and the program showcase.
  • Complete required progress updates or reporting as requested.
  • Attend the Verizon AI Signature Program Participant Celebration.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate weekly small-group cohort sessions for assigned tracks.
  • Support with facilitation guide development as necessary.
  • Review and provide structured feedback on participant assignments and deliverables.
  • Hold designated office hours to address participant questions and implementation challenges.
  • Provide timely feedback on workflow designs, testing outcomes, and implementation plans.
  • Support participants in troubleshooting and refining their AI-enabled workflows.
  • Attend weekly facilitator coordination meetings with the client and program teams.
  • Collaborate with fellow SMEs and program staff to ensure consistency and quality across cohorts.
  • Participate in onboarding and facilitator preparation activities prior to program launch.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of curriculum and participant experience throughout delivery.
  • Monitor participant progress and engagement within assigned cohorts.
  • Share observations and recommendations on participant outcomes with the program team.
