About The Position

Fisher Investments is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of AI solutions. This role involves leading and growing an engineering team, collaborating with business leaders, enterprise architects, and technology partners to deliver scalable, secure, and production-ready applications. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with modern AI and LLM technologies, a strong software engineering foundation, and experience leading teams in delivering real-world solutions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years leading engineering teams delivering enterprise ready solutions.
• 2+ years industry experience with focus on building and deploying AI and GenAI applications.
• Broad technology experience throughout systems development lifecycle, and various areas of technology architecture (infrastructure, application architecture, data architecture, integration).
• Hands-on experience building and deploying AI/GenAI applications using LLMs, RAG, AI agents, vector databases.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures, APIs, DevOps/MLOps, with experience deploying AI solutions in platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, communicate complex technical concepts to partners, and balance innovation with security, governance, and responsible AI practices.
• Experience with the investment management and wealth management industry.
• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of AI and software engineers, promoting collaboration and career growth while ensuring high-quality delivery.
• Improve end-to-end development of custom AI solutions from architecture and experimentation through production deployment, maintenance, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with enterprise and solution architects, and business stakeholders to prioritize work, define technical roadmaps, and delivery measurable outcomes.
• Establish engineering best practices for AI development, including MLOps, LLMOps, testing, observability, security, governance, and responsible AI.
• Evaluate latest AI technologies and frameworks, and guide the use of scalable, reusable platforms and patterns to accelerate AI solution delivery.
• Be a coach, building the design and development skills of other team members.
