About The Position

NVIDIA is seeking an AI Engineering Manager to join the Finance AI team. This role involves leading a team of AI engineers to develop AI solutions for Finance operations and evaluate external AI vendor solutions. The manager will guide the team in applying technology to business problems, onboard new tools, and contribute code. The position offers an opportunity to be part of a pioneering effort in AI within the finance domain.

Requirements

• Experience leading engineering teams that ship production software (manager, tech lead, or player-coach).
• Hands-on experience building AI systems and understanding of supporting data and system architecture.
• Proven track record of delivering technology for real business problems, preferably in finance or a similar regulated domain.
• 10+ years of overall software/AI engineering experience, including leadership and technical delivery ownership.
• 2+ years of leadership experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

• Clear communication skills, able to bridge the gap between engineers and finance/business leaders.
• Experience running formal vendor evaluations, POCs, or build-vs-buy analyses with security, procurement, and compliance partners.
• Enthusiasm for the latest AI research and product releases, with practical experience and informed opinions on their applicability.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CFO org (FP&A, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Procurement) to identify high-value problems and develop AI applications, agents, and automation.
• Set the technical direction and quality standards for AI development within Finance, incorporating emerging technologies.
• Remain hands-on by reviewing designs and code, making technical decisions, and setting engineering quality standards for agents, retrieval pipelines, and model integrations.
• Manage the end-to-end technical evaluation of new external AI vendors, including defining criteria, conducting POCs, assessing capabilities and costs, and providing build-vs-buy recommendations.
• Scale the team's output and establish reusable components, patterns, and standards to accelerate AI adoption across Finance.
